BRADLEY DUE MEMORIAL RANCH COMPETITION
Bradley's Story
Bradley Wayne Due was born to Johnny and Cindy Due on December 1, 1988.  He was a very happy, content baby.  There were lots of smiles and joy from people he met, but especially from his grandparents.  Preschool years were spent at Young World in Lufkin.  Where I'm told he had a certain teacher wrapped around his little hands and I don't doubt that for a minute. He went to Huntington I.S.D. where he graduated in 2007.  For two semesters he attended Angelina Collage.

As a teenager and this is where I met him, he loved to race.  The very first time I met him, he had had a wreck and was injured.  Even though he was in pain, he smiled telling the story.  His eyes would light up telling you about his racing.  Numerous times we sat at the track watching him next to his momma, always ready with the handycam catching him in all his glory.  Daddy and PaPa were out making sure he stayed on the track.  There were times he couldn't finish the race, and you know what?  He was back in the pits making sure someone else could, always ready with words of encouragement.

Bradley, radiated love from every pore of his body.  I admired how willing he was and never embarrassed to tell his parents or family how much he loved them.  I'd tease him "what about me, I'm feeling a little left out" he would smile big. He had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know.

He worked at Home Depot before getting his job at Nucor Steel in Jewett.  Both his momma and I helped him get his resume together.  They told him he had the best looking one they had seen.  We got a phone call on the drive home, thanking both of us.  That was the true spirit of Bradley.

On August 3, 2008 he made his transition to Heaven.  So whenever you see a tree frog, a duck or a shiney bullet, a good race or whatever you see that reminds you lovingly of him; think how blessed you were to have had him in your life. I know I do...
